Optimization of energy consumption and reduction of environmental pollutants is the most important principle in the oil and gas and petrochemical industry.For this reason,with the advancement of technology,energy consumption and pollution reduction in industries should be observed.So far,different methods have been investigated and used at design and implementation stages.Now,a significant amount of recoverable gases in the oil and gas industry is discharged into the atmosphere or sent to the torch for burning.This has caused negative environmental impacts,including global warming,and many environmental impacts on different areas.Due to the fact that the most important way to waste energy in gas refineries is the flaring system,and most of the environmental pollution is caused by this system,paying attention to optimizing the operation and correcting this part is very important.In this essay,methods of reducing emissions of pollutants,actions can be done to avoid burning them in gas refinery has been provided which contains methods for returning gas to feed system and using new technologies in the design of flare and optimizing flaring system.
