Calcareous scale deposits from natural hard water supplies in industrial plants may cause a lot of technical and economic problems. The efficiency of chemical antiscale of sodium tripolyphosphates (STTP) treatments was assessed by various techniques: electrochemical techniques and chemical measurement. Chronoamperometry and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) that are used to evaluate the character encrusting scale deposits on a metal surface. The tests showed that the coverage of the metal surface by the deposits is reduced by the presence of the inhibitor at concentration (2 mg / L). Fast controlled precipitation method can follow the kinetics of the process of nucleation- growth of calcium carbonate in water as a function of concentration. The FCP method has shown that the addition of 0.2 mg / L blocking the process of nucleation- growth of calcium carbonate is greater.
